Marcus King, who formed his own band, the Marcus King Band, at the age of 17 and has released three albums to date, will release his debut solo album, El Dorado, on January 17, 2020. Marcus King is currently 23 years old. He is already receiving great acclaim among guitar fans as a young guitar prodigy, but he is also a singer and songwriter with the most soulful voice of his generation and a reputation for innovative songwriting. His solo debut, "El Dorado," is based on classic rock, blues, southern R&B, and country soul, but also features delicate acoustic, pedal steel, and electric guitar solos. The album is produced by Dan Orbach, guitarist/vocalist for The Black Keys and winner of the Best Producer Award at the 55th Grammy Awards. Although they co-wrote one song on the Marcus King Band's third album, "Carolina Confessions," released last year, all 12 songs on this album were co-written by King and Aubach.It was written in just three days at Easy Eye Sound Studios in Nashville, which Oobac has.
