Dominic Gore, former member of the British electro-pop band Little Cub, releases his debut solo album under the name DC Gore! DC Gore, who started up after the South London-based band Little Cub disbanded, has been gaining attention for his unique electronic and synth-pop sound influenced by Pet Shop Boys and Jarvis Cocker, and has released his debut album "All These Things" on the prestigious Domino label! On this album, DC Gore succeeds in creating a more organic sound by adding acoustic instruments to the dance floor beats. The opening track, "Millennium People," opens the album with a grand opening, a melancholic synth-pop track over which DC Gore sings "I hate hip-hop, I hate Def Jam, I hate Britpop, I hate Krautrock, I hate punk, I hate techno..." and "I hate all things techno, I hate all things techno, I hate all things hip-hop, I hate all things Def Jam, I hate all things Britpop, I hate all things punk, I hate all things techno. The album features nine tracks, including the preceding single "I Like You," in which the singer sings "I hate hip-hop, I hate Def Jam, I hate Britpop, I hate Krautrock, I hate punk, I hate techno," over a synth-pop track.Mixed by Alexis Smith of Speedy Wunderground led by Dan Carey, mastered by Heba Kadry (Cate Le Bon, Lucy Dacus), and recorded by former band member Lawrence Hart.
