On October 31, 2000, Cuban jazz pianist-Omar Sosa gave a special concert in Bremen with a stellar band that included American rapper Sub-Z. Sosa's musical activities are diverse. Latin jazz, Afro-Cuban rhythms, and traditional North African music form the foundation, to which he adds elements of merengue, salsa, hip-hop, and He likes to add elements of merengue, salsa, soul, funk, classical music, and even hip-hop.
