The band was formed in Mannheim, Germany in '69 by Werner Stephan (vo/acoustic-g/per), Fritz Schmitt (org/p/key) and Gagey Mrozek (g). CD1 contains "NO. 2" from 1972 and CD2 contains "3" from 1973. CD1 contains the single version of "Sometimes" from the debut album and "Sunday Morning Eve", a single not included on the album, as well as the '98 Repertoire Records reissue of the '72 album.The '72 album has a solid hard rock sound with the same guitar/keyboard interplay as the debut album, but the psychedelic/blues tones have been reduced, and the vocalist has been replaced by Geff Harrison from TWENTY SIXTY SIX AND THEN. The vocalist was replaced by Geoff Harrison of TWENTY SIXTY SIX AND THEN, and the native, dry-sounding vocals and hooky melody lines on this '73 album give it a refreshingly English/U.S. hard rock sound that can be recommended to fans of ATOMIC ROOSTER/DEEP PURPLE and their hometown bands like SCORPIONS/JANE. This is a compilation disc that can be fully enjoyed by fans of ATOMIC ROOSTER/DEEP PURPLE and fellow countrymen SCORPIONS/JANE.
