Yo La Tengo bassist James McNew's second solo album released in 1995 (originally on Brinkman Records in the Netherlands), which has been out of print for many years, is being reissued by Morr Music! This is a hidden masterpiece of lo-fi music released amidst the rise of lo-fi music from grunge and alternative rock that dominated the American music scene at the time.Covers by Fish & Roses, The Fugs, Bob Dylan, Ultravox, Ronnettes, The Bonzo Dog Band, Mayo Tompson, and Half Japanese are also included. For this reissue, the album has been remastered by Bob Weston of Shellac. The 2-CD set contains 32 tracks totaling approximately 112 minutes, including bonus tracks.
