Kaplerová was born to a composer father, Václav Kapral (1889-1947), and a vocalist mother, Wenceslava Ufrilová (1890-1973), and showed great musical talent from an early age, At the age of 22, he graduated with honors from the Prague Conservatory, and made his debut as a conductor. After his first performance as a conductor, he went to Paris at the suggestion of Martineau. This trip to Paris resulted in exile with the occupation of Czechoslovakia. In Paris, he studied conducting under Charles Munch and composition under Martineau, and his talent blossomed. In April 1940, she married Izzy Mucha, the son of the painter Alphonse Mucha (Muha).When Paris was occupied by the Nazis in May, he was evacuated to the south of France, but died in Montpellier on June 16 of the same year. Kaplerover was only 25 years old. The young and talented Kaplerová's piano works were performed by the young Berlin pianist Leonie Katarasz (née Leonie Letting, recorded on 20-61188). Leonie Katarasz says that Kaplerover's music has a complex and colorful musicality, with the depth and maturity of a woman with a wealth of experience summing up her life, as well as the brilliance and passion of youth. Katarasz plans to begin a series of works by female composers, beginning with this Kaplerová, she said. King International.
