A collection of Russian songs for baritone, cello and piano! Henk Neven studied under Maarten Koningsberger and Margreet Honig at the Amsterdam Conservatory, was selected as a BBC New Generation Artist, and won the prestigious Nederlandse Muziekprijs (Dutch Music Prize). He is a promising Dutch baritone singer. Henk Neven's new album with his brother Jan Bastiaan Neven is a unique program of Russian songs for baritone, cello and piano. The CD recording combines original works originally composed for "voice, cello & piano" with pieces that they arranged themselves for this configuration, and was presented at the Cello Biennale 2016 in Amsterdam, where the CD recording was made possible after its great success. Henk Neven's new project "With Love From Russia (With Love From Russia)" is Henk Neven's new project, which includes Prokofiev's "The Clown" (excerpt) arranged for cello and piano in the margins of the songs, as well as the overall composition.Song fans and arrangement fans take note!
