This album contains the first half of a four-part epic metal opera that was created to integrate the music Tom has loved since he was a teenager, including the first part "Atlantean Shores", an authentic melodic/prog-metal album with Tom's brilliant and rapid guitar playing, and the second part "The Lost City", a chamber/ethnic metal album. The first part, "Atlantean Shores," is an orthodox melodic/prog-metal album with Tom's rapid-fire guitar playing, while the second part, "And Silently The Age Did Pass," is an acoustic album with chamber/folk music mixed in.Continuing on from their debut album, the band has assembled some of the most famous vocalists in the metal world, including big names such as Fabio Lione of ANGRA/TURILLI/LIONE RHAPSODY, Lance King formerly of BALANCE OF POWER and now of DEFYANCE, Thomas Vikstrom of THERION and Georg Neuhauser of SERENITY/WARKINGS.
