The PENTATONE label in the Netherlands, which has recently been attracting attention for its energetic releases of vocal music and operatic works, has once again released a remarkable new album! Eleonora Bratt, one of the most highly acclaimed lyric sopranos in the world today, is releasing her solo album "Indomita" (Indomita). Blatt made her Japan debut in 2014 when she appeared in Verdi's opera "Simon Boccanegra" as a substitute for Barbara Frittoli at the Rome Opera on a tour of Japan, where she was much talked about for her singing voice and high technique. This album pays homage to the heroines of three of the greatest Italian operas of the 19th century with arias from each of their operas. For Blatt, these scenes from Bellini's "The Pirates," Donizetti's "Anna Bolena" and "Lucrezia Borgia," and Verdi's "Two Foscari" and "Aroldo" are core repertoire for her successful career in dramatic opera since 1850.The beauty and strength of the indomitable heroines depicted in each work are perfectly suited to her voice, and she is more than capable of representing the development of Italian opera in the 19th century.
