The 1990 fourth album by US doom metal heavyweights Trouble has been remastered by Erwin Hermsen for the 35th anniversary of its release. The album is considered the pinnacle of the band's career and still stands as a masterpiece in the history of heavy metal. In the six years since their debut, the band has matured musically and produced their most accomplished work to date, combining excellent songwriting, meticulous production, and the mature vocals of Eric Wagner. From opener "At the End of My Daze" to the final song "All Is Forgiven," every song is littered with impressive riffs, and the lead work of guitarists Bruce Franklin and Rick Wartell is outstanding. The band's core of heavy metal remains unwavering, and the band manages to be both innovative and mature, despite the addition of a slightly more relaxed stoner element to their traditional dark doom. This historic reissue includes a bonus CD featuring a live performance in Dallas, TX, which allows listeners to enjoy both Trouble's masterful performance and the charms of the original album.
