Tasmin Little, who is highly acclaimed for her numerous undiscovered repertoire, especially her concerto recordings, plays the Violin Concerto by Robin de Raaf (b.1968), one of the leading Dutch composers of our time. De Raaf is a professor of composition at the Rotterdam Conservatory of Music, and in 2000 was invited to be a Senior Composition Fellow at the Tanglewood Music Center (Tanglewood Music Festival's workshop), which led to an expansion of his activities in North America, including a partnership with the Boston Symphony Orchestra. He has been a member of the Boston Symphony Orchestra and the Boston Symphony Orchestra since 2004.The Dutch master conductor Jaap van Zweden, who has served as chief conductor and music director of the Hague Residenti Orchestra, Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Royal Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra, and Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, and will be appointed music director of the New York Philharmonic in the 2018 season. He is also scheduled to become Music Director of the New York Philharmonic in the 2018 season. Tokyo M-Plus
