We knew that releasing singles for such a long period of time without releasing an album would be a challenge, but we couldn't be happier with the results. Memphis May Fire continues to sing anthems for the hurting, expressing the elements of anger, frustration, and pain that exist across generations with huge, thunderous melodic lines and a heavy sound that is overwhelmingly aggressive. They refuse to sacrifice themselves and all the people who support them, and they continue to evolve and produce a tremendous soundscape based on their firm beliefs, and they are able to express their firm beliefs of "hope" and "rebirth" that exist at the root of their lyrics in the anxiety, violence, rudeness, drug abuse, and excessive self-righteousness that comes from inconvenience. The most extreme form of this is captured in the film. This latest album, "Remade in Misery," captures the best of this.Guitarist Kellen McGregor, a founding member of the band, produced and mixed the album, and Cameron Mizell, who co-produced with McGregor on 2014's "UNCONDITIONAL," produced Mattie's vocals for this latest REMADE IN MISERY". With this album, the band purifies the world with the overwhelming catharsis of their experience gained through their long career of touring and production, the meaning of their existence, and their passion for the people who support them, all of which are spewed out in their sound. This overwhelming power is beautifully expressed in every song on the album, including "Bleed Me Dry," "Death Inside," "Only Human," and "The Fight Within. I want everyone to listen to the songs on here in different ways. I want people to listen to the songs in different ways: sitting down, working out at the gym, driving in the car... I want people to realize that the world around us is bigger than it seems. I want you to realize that there are people in this world who understand that imperfection is not a problem, and that you exist in that world. There is always someone in this world who knows your pain.
