Recorded live at the NY Bottom Line on April 13, 1981, from the promotional tour that followed the release of his first solo album "Carl Wilson". The album includes songs from the first album such as "Bright Lights" and "Heaven," the new song "Too Early To Tell," which will appear on his next album "Youngblood," the Beach Boys song "Long Promised Road," and a cover of Sam & Dave's "I Thank You," which Carl loves soul and R&B. On two songs (M8 and M9), Myrna Smith, a black female singer who once sang back-up chorus for Elvis Presley, performed with the group.
