Icardi returned to Italy at the age of 8 from Los Angeles, USA, where his family had moved for work, and studied piano with Anna Maria Cigoli, a renowned teacher who had trained many master pianists. Icardi quickly developed as a pianist, and at the age of 12, when he played Mozart's "Rondo K.386" as a soloist with the Bacau Symphony Orchestra in Romania, conducted by Ovidu Balan, he was struck by the role of the conductor in the performance and decided to pursue a career as a "conductor". He decided to pursue a career as a conductor. After studying with Fabrizio Drusi, who has been teaching conducting in Umbria for over 25 years, Icardi will make his conducting debut in 2019 with Mozart's "Divertimento in F major, K.138" (Icardi was 12 years old at the time.He was four years younger than Mozart when he composed "K.138"). He is currently studying conducting under Renato Rivolta at the Claudio Abbado School of Music in Milan, and at the same time, he is also learning violin and flute for his development as a conductor. Icardi, who already has an aura and charisma as a conductor, completely took control of the orchestra assembled for this recording of "Symphony No. 29" and performed with remarkable perfection.
