Frontier Records has released the latest live album by the reborn Asia, featuring original member Geoffrey Downes (keyboards) alongside a lineup of top-tier musicians including Virgil Donati (drums), John Mitchell (guitar), and Harry Whitley (bass, vocals). Recorded during the first night of a three-night “Early Trilogy Re-creation” concert series held in April 2025 at Trading Boundaries in Sussex, England, this album captures a full-length re-creation of their debut album, *Asia* (1982). In addition to classic tracks from the album such as “Heat of the Moment,” “Only Time Will Tell,” and “Sole Survivor,” the release includes bonus tracks: the single B-side “Ride Easy,” “The Heat Goes On” from their second album *Alpha*, and a live recording of Jeffrey Downs’ hit song from his Buggles days, “Video Killed the Radio Star.”
