Description:

This is a release from Color Red, a label run by Eddie Roberts, guitarist and leader of The New Mastersounds. The New Mastersounds label is headed by Eddie Roberts, guitarist and leader of The New Mastersounds, and is a label run by Eddie Roberts, guitarist and leader of The New Mastersounds. The work of Snarky Puppy, Lewis Cole, Wolfpeck, and others has become a global standard for discerning funk-jazz listeners. They have been making their presence felt at festivals around the world, and are changing the way instrumental music is perceived. Hailing from Seattle, the Polyrhythmics are the next generation of funk bands and are about to release the most important and symbolic album of their 10-year career. The band is very ensemble rich. They are a nine-piece band, including a horn section, and their tight playing, formed by a decade of trust, is the essence of their music. But The Polyrhythmics are not only known for their playing ability.Instead of the usual theme->improvisation (solo)->theme approach of funk-jazz and typical jam-type music, there are many approaches that test the listener's imagination. In other words, the arrangements are carefully calculated to deliver images to the listener's brain. For example, "Man from the Future," the title of the album, translates directly to "Man from the Future," but while the beginning of the song seems to be a medium-tempo mellow ballad, things start to change around the 2:20 mark. The song seems to be a medium-tempo mellow ballad in the beginning, but the situation changes after 2 minutes and 20 seconds.
