The cute duo was formed in 1994 by Rose Melberg, a craftsman who has crossed over to US indie pop legends like Tiger Trap and Go Sailor, and Jen Sbrazia, who also continues to make her single-minded pop music with the all-girl summer fun band Softies.The 2ND "WINTER PAGEANT", which caused a storm of praise released in 1997, is being reissued on LP by K RECORDS, just like the original! Recorded at Seattle's AVAST! studio with producer Stewart Hallerman, who has worked with Soundgarden, Bikini Kill, and others.The album is composed of twin guitars and twin voices of Rose and Jen, who are devoted to lilting pop, with lyrics about broken promises, lost love, no one answering the phone, and familiar melancholy, and conflicting elements that ride on top of each other in superb indie pop! The pop tune "Best Days" immediately brings to mind scenes of early summer, midday, and a park in the woods, and the deliciously concentrated "Indie Pop" makes you want to say, "This is what indie pop is all about! The song "PACK YOUR THINGS AND GO" is a condensed indie-pop tune that makes you want to say, "This is what indie-pop is all about!K RECORDS' gentle and heart-warming short stories will make your ears melt!
