Description:
Sin -SIN-" is the last album by LIP CREAM. Commonly called "the last album" because the original version was untitled when it was released, "Sin -SIN-" has a unique structure that alternates between audio drama and music, and was produced based on an extremely serious concept that is distinctly different from the works released in the past. The production of "Sin -SIN-", like its predecessor "Close to the Edge: Crisis", was entirely based on MINORU's concept, but the audio drama part, which is included in the original version, was created based on MINORU's thoughts and ideas. The audio drama part, which is included in the original version, was created by MINORU, who presented his ideas to the band members in the rehearsal studio. Pill, who heard the apocalyptic content of the drama, volunteered to write the scenario himself. During this period, Pill's conflict with MINORU over the band's initiative and his negative vibrations toward the band members reached a peak, which manifested itself as his own stress during the tour. The emotions of the other members and the staff reach a breaking point, which has a serious negative impact on the continuation of the band's activities, leading to the worst-case scenario: dissolution. It was difficult to convey the content of the audio drama parts in other languages on this RELAPSE disc, and we considered adding an English translation of the scenario, but in the end, MINORU suggested that we "listen to the songs themselves" for this remastering, and we decided to cut out all the drama parts. The songs included in the album, led by "Sin -SIN-," which also serves as the album title, shake the listener's spirit with its earnest lyrics and sound, filled with anger and despair. The concept of the album as a whole was based on the doomsday theory that MINORU had in mind at the time, but the band members also attempted a kind of collaboration with each other, as in "Kohren" composed by PILL and lyrics by JHAJHA, which is interesting from the historical point of view of the band. This is interesting from the band's historical point of view. The artwork by JHAJHA summarizes the concept of MINORU, with simple but deeply conflicting illustrations in black and white tones, a color-treated moon photo, and even the lyric cards in black and white, successfully creating an abstract visual representation of the message contained in the album. The album is also successful in the abstract visualization of the message contained in the album. This is the last album in both name and reality, but 30 years have passed since its release, and it still sends us an unchanging message.
