Bausnerln's music is characterized by a unique wit and combines a rich imagination with exquisite compositional techniques. This time, Bellorina joins soprano Maria Bengtsson between the quintet and the trio to provide pleasant singing to traditional French, German, and Italian melodies. Raised in Transylvania, Bausnern developed an early interest in folk music from around Hungary. Influenced by the New German School of Music, he studied in Berlin in the Brahms tradition, where he acquired a very distinctive musical style. Here the Berolina Ensemble is perfectly in its element, playing with a lively, lively spirit, moved by the joy of discovery.
