The Black Keys are the most important act in the Akron, Ohio scene, having released eight albums since their inception in 2001 and constantly inspiring the scene with their straight-ahead rock 'n' roll, garage, and blues based sound based on an overwhelming groove! The Black Keys have won six Grammy Awards, headlined at some of the biggest festivals including Coachella, Lollapalooza, and Governors Ball, and have thrilled the world with their stunning sound. Their last album, "Turn Blue", was released in 2014, reaching #1 in the US, Australia, and Canada, as well as the Top 10 in many countries around the world. After that, the band went on hiatus, and vocalist and guitarist Dan Orbach continued to work as a solo artist and in bands such as THE ARCS, while starting his own label, Easy Eye Sound, which produces a number of quality American rock bands. Drummer Patrick Carney has produced and played drums for artists such as Michelle Branch and Calvin Johnson. With no word on when they would resume their activities as The Black Keys, they suddenly released a new song "Lo/Hi" under the name The Black Keys in March 2019, and the world went wild for their first song under the band's name in five years. Immediately after that, they announced their first North American tour in many years, creating even more excitement around the world, and now, at long last, their ninth and highly anticipated album "Let's Rock" will be delivered to the world...! LET'S ROCK" was produced by Dan Orbach and Patrick Carney, who wrote the songs together and recorded the album at Dan's Easy Eye Sound Studio in Nashville. While the previous album had a sound that blended a meticulously calculated delicacy with the impulsive roughness of rock music, this new album is the backbone of The Black Keys, with a simple, loud rock sound that rings out loud and clear. Dan Orbach: "This album is like the greatest tribute to the electric guitar.I took the simplest approach possible and stripped away the extravagant embellishments that had been in my previous works. Lo/Hi, released in March, "The Keys are officially back, and louder than ever! (Rolling Stone), and "The garage-boogie sound is back, this time in perfect form" (New York Times). The song "Eagle Birds," which was released along with the album information, has an irresistible groove created by simple yet loud guitars and dynamic drums, and is a true celebration of "The Black Keys are back! The Black Keys have already released "Eagle Birds," a song with a groove that is as loud and simple as the loud guitars and dynamic drums of the band.
