This was his first live album and the first release on the NONESUCH label, and will be reissued in analog form for the first time 15 years after its release. Recorded on February 15, 2003 at the Sumida Triphony Hall, the album features a selection of Meldreau's original compositions, as well as a number of bonus tracks, from George Gershwin to Serena Segal, and from the album's first release on NONESUCH. The album contains 15 tracks featuring Meldreau's original compositions as well as his unique arrangements and interpretations of music by a wide range of artists, including George Gershwin, Thelonious Monk, Joni Mitchell, Paul Simon, Nick Drake, Cole Porter, Burt Bacharach, Radiohead, and many others.Brad Meldreau has been praised by many artists and musicians across genres as "one of the leading jazz pianists of the new century," and this album is a true showcase of his abilities as a live artist.
