This album was in the top 10 of the U.S. Billboard 200 and features "Slang of Ages," the only Steely Dan song on which Becker sings lead vocals. The original LP of this album is also known as one of the rarest and most popular items on the used market. This reissue has been newly remastered from the original source material and cut at 45 rpm; the two quiet LPs spread the music across all four sides of the record, reducing distortion and high frequency loss, and the wider groove spacing allows the stereo cartridge to track more accurately. The result is a punchier sound and more expression. New remastered 180 gram 45rpm double LP from the original analog tapes by Bernie Grundman, pressed by QUALITY RECORD PRESSINGS and tipped on by STOUGHTON PRINTING.
