This collection of Debussy's piano works consists of the fresh and elegant "Preludes, Volume 1" and the "Prelude to the Afternoon of a Pastor" arranged for solo piano by Leonard Beauvic. Pianist Leonardo Zunica was born in Mantova. He studied at the Conservatory of Verona, the Vienna State University of Music, and the Moscow Conservatory, where he studied with master pianists such as Renzo Bonizzato, Lev Naumov, and Irina Chukovskaya. As a soloist, he has performed with the Orchestra della Arena of Verona, I Virtuosi Italiano, and the Ukrainian National Symphony Orchestra, and is active with Paolo Guidoni and Antonio Mostacci, with whom he formed the Mantova Trio.
