Paganini (1782-1840)

Description:

Paganini's Violin Concerto No. 6 in "Guitar Accompaniment Version"! The world premiere recording of the "original" version, made possible by the discovery and revision of the manuscript score! Da Vinci Classics is proud to present the world premiere recording of the original version of Paganini's "Violin Concerto No. 6" with guitar accompaniment, a historic project unique to the Italian label! Paganini's "Violin Concerto No. 6" was discovered by Edward Neale in 1972 under an antique dealer in London, England. When it was discovered, there were two folders in it, one containing the "solo violin part" and "outline of the orchestral accompaniment" and the other containing the "guitar accompaniment score". Today, the "Violin Concerto No. 6" is often performed using the orchestral accompaniment score restored by Montpellio or Fiore based on the orchestral accompaniment score discovered at that time, but the version used for this recording is the very early or original version The version used for this recording is the "Guitar Accompaniment Version", which is truly an early or original version.Paganini himself was a guitarist and left many excellent works for violin and guitar, and the fact that he frequently used the guitar instead of the piano in his compositions also makes the "Violin Concerto No. 6" in "Guitar Accompaniment Version" very significant. I am sure! The "Violin Concerto No. 6" is characterized by a style reminiscent of Viotti, Kreutzer, and Rohde's concertos, as well as by a development of Paganini's later style, which seems to demand the utmost of violin virtuosity. Mantova-born violinist Paolo Guidoni, who studied at the Chigiana Conservatory in Siena and then in Sion, Switzerland, with Ivry Gitlis, won the Vittorio Gui Prize in Florence at the young age of 19, founded Trio Matisse in 1983, and is a soloist, He is a virtuoso soloist and chamber musician who performs throughout the world. Guitarist Gabriele Zanetti studied guitar at the Brescia Conservatory (Luca Marenzio Conservatory) and is a brilliant player of two guitars (acoustic and electric) and mandolin. He is also a "key player" who discovered the manuscript score of the "Violin Concerto No. 6" in its "Guitar Accompaniment Version" and revised the score to make the recording possible. Tokyo M-Plus
