The Kiaroscuro Quartet, led by one of the best violinists of our time, Alina Ibragimova, has finally started recording Beethoven. The quartet was formed in 2005 and has been active in performing and recording music since its inception. All of their recordings have been highly acclaimed, with Haydn's String Quartet No. 77 "Emperor" ranked first in Record Geijutsu magazine's "500 Masterpieces of the New Era" special issue. The members of this famous group have remained the same since its formation, and have evolved even further! Beethoven's String Quartets No. 1 to No. 3 are composed of six string quartets including No. 4 to No. 6 as Op. 18, written between 1798 and 1800, and published in 1801. The ensembles of these works can be enjoyed in this genre that Beethoven, who was about to turn 30 years old, finally attempted. Although these are his early works, Beethoven's individuality and the compositions are well woven into the music. The Chiaroscuro Quartet's sharp and warm performance is a new masterpiece in this collection.Expectations are high for their future releases!
