The Korean violinist Soo Ye Park, born in 2000, is back with her debut release "Paganini's 24 Caprices" (BISSA2282), which she recorded at the age of 16. She was born in 2000, which means she was 17 years old at the time of recording! She is one of those rare individuals whose talent blossomed immediately after being recommended to study at the Hans Eisler University of Music Berlin by Valline, who fell in love with her incredible talent. She is a child prodigy reminiscent of Midori Goto or Sarah Chang, and her technique is so accomplished and her music so mature that it is hard to believe that she is a teenager. Park is known for his flawless technique.Even in such superbly crafted works as Sarasate's Introduction and Tarantella, Wieniawski's Scherzo Tarantella, Milcitin's Paganiniana, and Ernst's Remaining Roses, the music is well constructed and the detailed passages are heard with clarity. Not only the technique, but also the eloquent narration is the charm of Park. In Elgar's Love Greeting and Tchaikovsky's Melody, she plays music that foreshadows a great composer.
