Litton is known for his excellent sense of balance and tact that brings out the beauty of the works. Of his wide repertoire, Prokofiev is a particular favorite, and he has performed it well on previous releases. The famous "Classical Symphony" is characterized by a light, easy to understand, and beautiful style, with Prokofiev-like harmony and sudden modulations.
