Description:
SACD hybrid disc. Pianist Aleksandr Kantorov, whose father is the renowned violinist and conductor Jean-Jacques Kantorov, makes his BIS label debut with the Liszt Piano Concerto. At the age of 16, he performed Rachmaninoff's Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini with Sinfonia Varsovia at La Folle Journée in Nantes. Her outstanding technique and emotionally rich performance enthralled the audience. The choice of the virtuoso Liszt for his disc debut shows that this young talent is a talent to be reckoned with. Augustin Dumay, who has been active in conducting in recent years, highly appreciates this abundant talent and frequently performs with him.The world's richest talent is finally available on disc! King International
