Young Canadian viola player Marina Thibault makes her debut, bringing the charm of the viola to the world! Young viola player Marina Thibault was selected as an artist for "Revelations Radio Canada 2016/17" and has been giving concerts around the world. This debut album features old and new viola masterpieces. Thibault's talent was recognized at the age of 9, making her the youngest student ever to enter the Conservatoire de Québec. She then studied at the Curtis Institute of Music with Michael Tree and Roberto Diaz. After graduation, he studied at the Svizzera Italiana Conservatory under Bruno Giulanna, one of the founders of the I Musici ensemble. Currently, he is a promising viola player of the future.Tchaikovsky's "Sentimental Waltz" arranged by Borisovsky, a viola player in Beethoven's string quartet; the first movement of Glinka's Sonata for viola, also completed by Borisovsky; Hindemith's Sonata for viola solo; the Prelude by Ana Sokolovic, one of Canada's leading contemporary composers; Jean Lusage, another Canadian composer; Milan Kymlicka, a Czech-born Canadian active in film music; and Martinů, a prolific composer.
