By Juan González Martínez, a trombonist who studied at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague in the Netherlands and has performed with renowned ancient music orchestras and ensembles throughout Europe, including Capella Cracoviensis (Poland) and Le Cercle de Larmonie (France), The young ancient instrument ensemble "Concierto Iberico" was formed in 2017 by Juan González Martínez, a professional musician (minstrel) who was active throughout Europe from the 14th to the 18th centuries and made a living from his high performing skills, both at court, in the church, and for the entertainment of the general public. This album features music from the "Spanish Golden Century," a period when their culture was at its most prosperous and when Spanish art, music, and literature were at their height.
