Starting with the piano intro and the stylish chorus of "Aquarela," the album features many Bossa classics composed by Luis Bonfa, Antonio Carlos Jobim, and others. This album was released under the name "Bossa Nova" in Belgium and the Netherlands, but here in Japan, it was released under the name "Soul Of Samba" with a different jacket from the European release on Trio Records. This reissue follows the design of the Japanese edition and is a collector's item.
