This new project was inspired to launch this project after hearing how heavily compressed today's music tends to be! 'Sonically, a good portion of today's hip-hop sounds like it's played under a heavy quilt. In other words, certain frequencies have been buried. It makes it impossible to feel and hear, and it destroys the atmosphere and energy of the production. No matter how good it is." he says. And so he dug up his own material and started this project.Some of them included unreleased beats made for Big L, Grand Puba, and others. This album, filled with such gems of beats, is a real treat for hip-hop heads at heart.
