Norwegian blues/acid folk singer, active since the 1960s, originally released in 1977 by Norway:Sonet, reissued in 2025 by Norway:Norske Albumklassikere! With the collaboration of Norwegian poet and translator Jan Erik Vold, who has also been deeply involved in the music industry as a lyricist and vocalist, this album features Norwegian-language covers of songs by his beloved Bob Dylan.Alongside vocals featuring a distinctive delivery influenced by American music like Bob Dylan and blues/country, the backing ensemble—featuring powerhouse Norwegian jazz players like Brynjulf Blix (keyboards), Sveinung Hovensjo (b), and Erik Balke (sax), all accomplished players from the Norwegian jazz scene. The laid-back feel shines through in the performance, incorporating sax and organ/electric piano, sometimes even hinting at a funky mood. The vocals, effortless yet carrying that characteristic Nordic melancholy, are truly impressive! As bonus tracks, it includes the reggae version of "Sitte Fast Pa Notodden Med Briskeby Blues Pa Nytt" (same as the old Pan Records release), plus covers of "Mannen I Meg" and "Alt Som Var Er Over, Soster Bla". The mastering uses a newly remastered source based on the original master tapes, handled by engineer Giert Claussen, who works on all releases for this label. 【Bonus Track: 3 songs included / Remastered version】
