Astronauts Etcetera, a project of Anthony Ferraro, has released its long-awaited new album! Anthony is also the keyboardist for Toro y More's touring band, and has previously released songs featuring Toro y More as a guest, and he (Chaz Baer) is the co-producer of this album. When Chaz offered to produce this album, Anthony began to devise a collection of songs that would highlight the delicate interplay of their sensibilities. The sound world then expanded rapidly, and oddly enough, he found that his interests were seeking outside essences that he had not found before.It was Latin psychedelia, and it was also David Axelrod's magnificent orchestration. While his sweet falsetto voice remains intact, Chaz's production brings an unusual and seemingly timeless wavelength to the new soundscape he incorporates in this album, resulting in a surreal new age diary-like collection of mellow songs by one eccentric drifting through the muck of the information age!
