A collection of works by Italian Baroque composer Torelli, including many world premiere recordings! Giuseppe Torelli, a composer and violinist of the Italian Baroque period, is widely known for his significant contributions to the development of concertos for ensemble and solo instruments. After joining the EU Baroque Orchestra, Torelli performed with the La Chetola Baroque Orchestra, the Freiburg Baroque Orchestra, the Ensemble Gilles Banschois, the RIAS Chamber He has performed with the Ensemble Gilles Vanchois, the RIAS Chamber Choir, and others. He has performed with Vincent Bernard at the Festival Valmainste, among others, and was appointed organist of the Cathedral of Lyon in 2009, and after seven years as second violin leader of the Liège Philharmonic Orchestra, he turned his attention to ancient music, International performers of ancient music, such as baroque violinist Schuynh-Con, who studied historical instruments at the Geneva Conservatory, shed light on unknown aspects of Torelli's music and reveal the musical diversity of these works scattered throughout Europe.
