The original Bevan Family Choir, consisting of 11 of the 14 siblings, released its debut album (LP) in 1975, conducted by their father Roger. He was succeeded by his second son, David, who also became the Assistant Music Director of Westminster Cathedral.The family musical tradition continued to flourish, and in 2013 some of the second generation relatives formed a new family choir, which was named the "Bevan Family Consort." With 15 to 22 members (seven of whom are professional singers) out of a total of 53 relatives, the choir has been active since its inception. The second album features works for Christmas carols and Advent centered around Palestrina's "Missa Sine Nomine". Recorded July 9-12, 2023 (Tokyo M-Plus)
