ACT MUSIC has released "Stealing Moments", the latest album by Viktoria Tolstoy, a jazz singer with a beautiful voice born in Scandinavia. Victoria Tolstoy, a Russian-Swedish born in 1974, made her debut on ACT in 2004 with the album "Shining On You" and has been active as a jazz singer ever since. She has performed with international stars such as Swedish jazz great Nils Lundgren, McCoy Tyner, Ray Brown, and Toots Sielmans, and has performed all over the world including Japan. He is the great Russian writer Tolstoy's great-grandfather. Stealing Moments" is a new album that Victoria Tolstoy has created to coincide with the 20th anniversary of ACT's debut, and she has incorporated the idea of "families" making music together. Many of the current ACT artists who also participated in her debut album, "Shining On You," composed the music for the album, which is filled with the "family" element she envisioned. Veteran musicians such as Nils Lundgren, Ida Sand, Wolfgang Hafner, Cecilie Norby, Lars Danielsson, Iiro Lantara, and Jan Lundgren, as well as longtime friends and colleagues, have written new songs with Tolstoy and her voice in mind. The album also includes "Hands Off," an instrumental by the late Esbjörn Svensson.
