Bach's flute sonata, which he says is a work close to his heart, and the album explores a dynamic dialogue between past and present with this work and his own compositions. The album is performed on a Keybird, a lightweight acoustic piano with MIDI capability, and an analog synthesizer is connected to create a magical sound world that combines the organic warmth of an acoustic piano with the electronic quality of a synthesizer. The sound world of Bach's sonatas is a mysterious one.
