But the band is a unique group of Texas gentlemen with a high level of musicality that can only be described as British Rock influenced by the 70's Southern Rock. The fast-changing melodies and arrangements are in the direct lineage of Paul and Elton. The melancholy has Nilsson and Randy Newman flavors. At times, improvisation like that of Jesus bursts forth.
