This is a private press release from 1975 by ERNEST WOOD, who started his musical career as a jazz guitarist in Portland, Oregon, but became ill in his late 20s and had to give up his career. The album is a soundtrack of the ordinary life in the good old U.S.A., based on the theme of his own boyhood, and the nostalgic soundscape of carefully spun field recordings, zithers, synthesizers, etc. echoes through the entire album. The album was selected as one of "The 50 Best Ambient Albums of All Time" by Pitchfork, and its unique musicality, which is different from both mere ambient music and field recordings, continues to captivate a cult of ambient freaks around the world!
