Description:
Soft Parade," the Doors' fourth studio album, was released in the United States on July 18, 1969. This album, which reached No. 6 in the U.S., was also the band's fourth Top 10 album in the U.S. The single "Touch Me" from the album became a hit, reaching No. 1 in the U.S. On the other hand, the style of the album, which boldly introduced a brass section and percussion, caused a great sensation at the time. To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the release of "Soft Parade," an analog LP containing the original album is now available as an independent work from the "deluxe edition" of three CDs and one LP released last year in November 2019. The original album will be remastered in 2019. The remastering was done by Bruce Botnick, the remastering engineer for previous Doors releases, and will be released on 180 gram heavyweight black vinyl.
