Description:

Woodstock, the origin of rock festivals, was held in August 1969, and the worldwide sensation was one of the "most important events of the 1960s" in the history of popular music and subcultures, and will be remembered as a symbolic event of the American counterculture of the 1960s. It will be remembered as one of the "most important events of the 1960s" in the history of popular music and subculture, and will be passed down to posterity as a symbolic event of American counterculture in the 1960s. This year, 2019, the 50th anniversary of the historic festival, will see the release of a number of films that look back on Woodstock and its era. At the center of this series is "WOODSTOCK - BACK TO THE GARDEN - 50TH ANNIVERSARY EXPERIENCE," which could be called an audio documentary of Woodstock, and this summer, a series of reissues of albums released in that memorable year, 1969, will be released on analog vinyl. This summer, RHINO RECORDS will release "SUMMER OF '69," a series of analog reissues of albums released in 1969, the year of the anniversary.Included in the lineup are a number of classic albums released in the vicinity of 1969 from artists who appeared at Woodstock, including the Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane, CS&N, and Arlo Guthrie. Crosby, Stills & Nash was already a supergroup by the time they appeared at Woodstock, consisting of David Crosby, formerly of the Byrds, Stephen Stills, formerly of Buffalo Springfield, and Graham Nash, formerly of the Hollies. Their memorable debut album, "Suite: Judy of the Blue Eyes" by Stephen Stills, said to be a song about Judy Collins, and the light pop tune "Express to Marrakech" by Graham Nash, were single hits that won them a Grammy Award for Best Newcomer in 1969. Their memorable debut album, which produced the single hit "Express to Marrakech", a light pop tune by Ham Nash, and won the Grammy Award for best newcomer in 1969, is back on burgundy red colored analog vinyl. (1969 release)
