This year's theme is "90's", and the albums from this period, when analog LPs were replacing CDs, will be released on limited edition colored vinyl. The album was released on September 29, 1992, and is a memorable debut album by the Stone Temple Pilots, an influential grunge act that stands out from the many other grunge acts.The album, which debuted at #3 in the U.S., was a huge hit with songs like "Sex Type Thing," "Wicked Garden," and "Plush," selling over 8 million copies in the U.S. alone and winning a Grammy Award in 1994 for Best Hard Rock Performance for the single "Plush. In 1994, STONE TEMPLE PILOTS won the Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock Performance for their single "Plush," and their debut album catapulted them to the top of the international music scene.
