Description:
The only album by the California heavy psychedelic band FRACITON for ANGELUS RECORDS in 1971 has been reissued with bonuses! Only 200 copies of this album were pressed, and it features Jim Beach, a vocalist so similar to Jim Morrison that he is often cited as an example, sobbing with all the gloss and dread he can muster. The twin heavy guitars that run around in all directions are hard to believe that this is a Christian band, and from the very beginning, the world is wrapped in the texture of slumbering downer and minor chords, and the lulling voice of the vocalist is intertwined with it. The contrast between the thick fuzz guitar that roars in between songs and the echoing drums is superb. The third track, which should be called "the eye of the typhoon," is a problematic work that literally puts an irresistible tension on the microphone, causing the extratropical cyclone to gradually engulf its surroundings in the latter half and become a huge vortex, like a reverse typhoon, and unleashing a quiet tension.
