The quartet features some of the hottest ECM players from New York in the past decade. David Virelles on keyboards, Joe Martin on bass, and Marcus Gilmore on drums each give shining performances that rival multi-horn player Potter. Potter plays tenor saxophone, soprano saxophone, and bass clarinet on this album, but the first track, "Heart in Hand," is the most enchanting and atmospheric track on this ECM release.
