The Amazons, a four-piece guitar rock band, debuts as one of the most promising newcomers of 2017! Influenced by grunge and punk, The Amazons are gaining popularity in the UK with their rugged yet melodic and harmonically rich guitar rock sound.The band's debut album was produced by Katherine Marks, who has worked with Wolf Alice, Falls, and The Vaccines. Recording took place at the famous Assault & Battery Studios in West London. All the songs on the album were written between the ages of 18 and 22. The songs are very direct and emotional," says vocalist Matt, who was heartbroken at the age of 20 and wrote the songs while strumming his guitar at a high pitch.
