Description:
The CD release of The Afterlife, an EP by The Comet Is Coming, a hot trio from the UK who also performed in Japan for the first time at FUJI ROCK 2019. Saxophonist Shabaka Hutchings is not the leader of the trio, but rather the equal of lamar Max Hallett and keyboardist Danalog, who communicate with each other to create the music, which is jazz in itself, but the sound is electronic in a way that is only possible in the UK today. The explosive energy of these three musicians is one of their charms. This album is a follow-up to the first Impulse album "Trust in The Lifeforce of The Deep Mystery" released in March, but it is a companion piece to "Lifeforce" and is inextricably linked to it like day and night, light and darkness, creation and destruction, and was created simultaneously. It is a companion piece to "Lifeforce".
