Description:
The Rolling Stones' first new music in 8 years! On Sunday, April 19 (Japan time), the Rolling Stones performed at the "One World: Together At Home" charity concert organized by the World Health Organization (WHO) and Global Citizen and curated by Lady Gaga. The Rolling Stones, who once again made their presence known by performing "You Can't Always Get What You Want," a number from their 1969 album "Let It Bleed," have released their first new song in eight years. The song is a Mick Jagger/Keith Richards composition, which was previously recorded in Los Angeles and London for the new album, and was worked on and completed separately after "Lockdown" began. Mick Jagger (vocals/harmonica/guitar/backing vocals), Keith Richards (guitar/backing vocals), Charlie Watts (drums), Ronnie Wood (guitar/backing vocals), Darryl Jones (bass), Matt Clifford ( Keyboards/horn/sax/flugelhorn)Message from the members:Mick: "Before the lockdown, the Stones were in the studio recording new songs. One of the songs resonated with our current situation. So we each worked individually on this song. That song is "Living in a Ghost Town. I hope you like it. We recorded this song over a year ago in LA. It was going to be on a new album that we had been working on for a while. And when this happened, Mick and I decided to finish that song and get it out as soon as possible. That's how we decided to release "Living in a Ghost Town. Take care of yourselves, people! Charlie: "I had a lot of fun finishing this song. Ronnie: "I've been getting a lot of messages from people over the past few weeks. Ronnie: "I've been getting a lot of messages from people over the past few weeks. It means a lot to us that you guys are enjoying the music. I have a new song for you all today. I hope you enjoy it. It's called "Living in a Ghost Town" and it's got a very distinctive melody that sticks in your head.
