Since its debut, MGK has cited Blink-182, along with DMX and Eminem, as influences, but has kept this aspect to one element of its work, perhaps as a result of the hit "I Think I'm OKAY" from the previous album "Hotel Diablo. The new album, which was directed by Travis Barker, is a pop-punk album in which the lead singer sings and plays some guitars. The album features a series of melodic songs with introspection, such as "My Bloody Valentine," whose music video has been the talk of the town since it developed into a relationship with Megan Fox, and "Forget Me Too," which features a fresh voice that overlaps with Halsey's. The album also features a song with Trippie Redd, "I'll Be Your Friend," which is a song about a woman who is in a relationship with a man she loves. The song "All I Know" with Trippie Redd reminds me of Lil Wayne's "Rebirth," and it is a great work that reminds us that this kind of experimentation is no longer unique after emo rap and other styles of music. bounce (C) Koji Dejima
