The album was co-produced by Jay Landers and Grammy Award winner and Academy Award nominee Jorge Calandrelli (who also arranged and conducted) and features material from his great catalog, including Cole's immortal masterpiece, The Christmas Song.The album was co-produced, mixed and mastered by multiple Grammy Award-winning engineer and mixer Dave Reitzas (Natalie Cole, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion). Reitzas is the legendary mixer of the Grammy(R)-winning "Unforgettable," the historic virtual duet between Natalie and Nat King Cole Born in 1919 in Montgomery, Alabama, Nathaniel Adams Coles was the first Baptist Church and was one of four sons of the church's pastor, Edward Coles. His mother, Perlina Coles, who was the church choir director, taught him to play the piano at the age of 4. In 1921, the family moved to Chicago in search of a better life in a prosperous northern town. Nat fell in love with the inescapable sound of Chicago jazz. Mastering the piano at a young age was central to his artistic development. As a teenager, Cole developed his own style, adding a touch of blues.His unique playing style and sexy baritone voice were fully formed when he moved from Chicago to Los Angeles. (1/2)
